Description

AMPCOLOY® alloys, the high-conductivity alloys range produced by AMPCO METAL supplement the AMPCO® metal series.
These high-conductivity copper alloys are produced with greater care than commercial metals, with virgin metals and stringent controls to guarantee uniformity and unvarying quality.

That is why AMPCOLOY® alloys are intensively used in molds as inserts for the injection, extrusion and blow molding of plastics parts for the automotive as well as the whole plastics industry to reduce cycle times from 20 to 80 %, increasing greatly the production rates, saving costs and improving parts quality for higher profits.

For all friction applications in molds, AMPCO® 18 and 21 are used extensively providing the solution to many wear or seizing issues.
